A pretty fast illustration that is linked to a personal graphic novel story I'm creating. Main lines sketched by hand then put into photoshop for colour.
I've always been a massive fan of that retro style pinup, and decided to mix it with tattoo art and see what I'd come up with. This is something I'm going to follow up and improve on, with more girls as time goes on, so watch this space!
I've just been working on giving the company Hero Ping a new look by creating two super hero characters to be the face of the company. I then put these characters into a new website banner and 3 icon images for 'News', 'F.A.Q.', and another more general one.
As time goes, these heroes will turn into long term characters that represent the company, hopefully with a comic-style storyline that'll give them some background!
Hi all, come and check out some great talent, including myself... haha. Industry folks and anyone from the public looking for some artistic direction in their upcoming campaign or small illustrated job welcome!
Movember is on its way, and the German Club has asked me to do their poster. Come in and enjoy the festivities, and donate a couple bucks to help support BeyondBlue and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
My basketball team, the Stealth Katz, was sick of wearing white bonds singlets with the numbers scribbled on in permanent markers, so we thought it was time to splash out on uniforms and get an image to suite the name. Here's what I came up with, with some creative direction from the lads.
Here's some of what I've been working on for the coming German Schutzenfest festival, which is held in Adelaide annually. All designs are still drafts, showing: Banner, Poster, fold-up Program (outside and inside) and proposed t-shirt designs.
Showing a bit of process and the final of a poster design aimed at the everyday person to think about what relatively simple changes they can make to help clean up our mess. Sketch & Photoshop.
A fairly quick rendering of a drawing I did a while back of two Geishas. I chose the sepia style overlay to give the sense of the history involved in this part of Japanese culture. Sketch & Photoshop.
My motivation behind this piece of art was to use the basic shapes in the layout of Hokusai's most famous Ukiyo-e print, The Great Wave of Kanagawa (see top image)with Mt. Fuji in the background. Sketch & Photoshop.
This is the sketch I came up with from a few concept thumbnails of mine for a Red Riding Hood piece. It's a work in progress and I have other work on my plate at the moment, so I'll update you all on how this turns out in the near future!
Been working on a set of designs for an upcoming fightwear clothing brand 'M-16 Fightwear', so it's all still a work in progress. I'm really excited about this one as I've been given full creative licence to come up with whatever I think will look good! Sketch & Photoshop/Illustrator.
Had the beauty spa 'Accent on Beauty' ask me to come up with some interesting earthy-styled designs for the front of their gift certificates. This is what I came up with for them.
I've always wanted to create a set of illustrated playing cards with a different design for each card in the pack. So here's a start, the Queen of Hearts. Hope to one day take them to a printing company and sell them by the dozen!
Hi everyone, got another drawing. No reference; well the face was Very loosely based on a MGS character Emma Emmerich... Concentrating on not being so uptight in linework and create a little more dimension to character and mood. Looks kind of like a life-drawing model sketch...
These are three of the logos I've just completed for clients... the Fight Club one has asked to be changed a bit though, so I'll put that up once it's finished off.
This is a self portrait I did a year or so ago. It was done in acrylic paints, I didn't get around to finishing the hands and a couple of small details, but i was pretty excited with the way it turned out. Something I'm going to start working on again soon hopefully.
Saw an interesting looking old fella walking down the street, so I thought I'd draw him up when i got home. I thought it'd be a bit generic if he was walking a dog, plus he seems to suit the koala.
